Harper Lake House
Louisville, Colorado
Louisville, Colorado
Tucked into a corner lot near Harper Lake, this new single-family home was designed for a young family of four relocating to Colorado. The site offers a dramatic southern view of Louisville and western views of the Flatirons and the Rocky Mountains— defining elements of the design.
Responding to the lot’s significant topography, the house is carefully stepped into the landscape. A series of integrated stairs and terraces creates a rhythm between architecture and terrain, blurring the boundary between built and natural. Generous overhangs frame views while thoughtfully managing solar exposure, especially during Colorado’s intense summer sun.
This home reflects a family’s fresh start in a new environment. It is designed to embrace both the sweeping mountain views and the tactile, everyday experience of moving through landscape and light.
This project will be submitted for permitting soon.
