The Simpson Mixed-Use project reimagines a historic urban lot, creating a distinctive live-work opportunity in Lafayette’s vibrant East Simpson Street corridor. Situated behind an existing small historic office, the design introduces a new 1,200 SF detached residence above a garage that provides parking for both the office and the residence. 

Our design approach emphasizes contextual sensitivity, ensuring the new dwelling’s thoughtful, minimized form and scale harmonize respectfully with the adjacent historic structure and the surrounding residential neighborhood.
